Villa Terra — Filming & shooting
Villa Terra — Filming & shooting

A set,
already built.

Architect-designed villa for filming, photo shoots and production in southern Corsica: an unseen location, 530 m² and 5,300 m² of private grounds.

Dry stone, solid wood, an infinity pool and maquis: an architect-designed villa still unseen on camera.

Filming & shootingOn request

Architecture that has not been seen yet — and will not be everywhere.

Practical

Crew on site

Five bedrooms on the property: less travel, more usable daylight.

Setting

Southern Corsica

Maquis, sea and stone fifteen minutes from Porto-Vecchio.

The locationStill unseen

A place nobody has filmed.

The architecture

Dry stone, low lines

530 m² of dry stone and wide openings, set on the ground rather than imposed on it. The look holds from room to room: no change of register to reconcile in the edit.

Outdoors

5,300 m² of private grounds

Infinity pool, terraces, maquis, olive trees, a view down to the sea. The grounds are enclosed with no overlooking: no residents in shot, no neighbourhood noise to replace.

Worth knowingPlainly
Exclusivity

One group at a time

The villa takes a single occupant. A production has the entire location for the duration of its rental — no guests to work around, no off-limits areas, no slots to negotiate with a hotel.

The setting

A residential area

The property stands alone but is in a residential area: the commune's night-time noise rules apply, and any heavy rig or night shoot must be declared and agreed in advance.

The light

May, June, September

The light of the far south is clean from spring to autumn, and the site is far more workable outside July and August — clear roads, low-season rate at €10,906 a week against €20,505 in August.

Frequently asked questions

Filming at the villa, in practice

Has the villa been filmed before?

No. That is precisely the point: the location does not exist anywhere else, not in a stock library and not in a scouting catalogue. For a production looking for an unseen place, that is rare in southern Corsica.

What sets does the villa offer?

Six interior settings — lounge, kitchen, dining room, cinema room, private club, wine cellar — and the exteriors: infinity pool, terraces, pool house, maquis and olive trees across 5,300 m² of enclosed grounds, with a view down to the sea.

Can the production stay on site?

14 beds in five bedrooms, plus a service studio. Kitchen and summer kitchen available, daily housekeeping optional (€900). The exact number of people present must be agreed before arrival.

Are there filming restrictions?

The property stands alone but is in a residential area: the commune's night-time noise rules apply. Any heavy rig, generator or night shoot must be declared and agreed in advance, with the production insurance certificate.

When is the best time to shoot?

May, June and September. The light of the far south is clean, the roads are clear and the rate is low season — €10,906 a week against €20,505 in August, when access to the area becomes difficult.

How do you reach the location with equipment?

Via the RT 10 trunk road, with private parking on the property. Figari airport is thirty-five minutes away and Porto-Vecchio fifteen — close enough for a same-day resupply.
